The door handle was located in Leipzig in the office of the RLS Sachsen at the event room. The RLS Sachsen moved into the rooms in 2019. There are other left-wing projects in the building, so the door handle was in good company here until now. You have already had quite a few people in your hands, be it the members of the RLS Sachsen board of directors, the employees of the RLS Sachsen, guests who visited events in the room, Saxon scholarship holders for their regular meeting with the Studienwerk, as well as cooperation partners of the RLS Sachsen who used the room for meetings or their own events.
The RLS Saxony will be 30 years old in 2021, just like the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, and thus the Klinke is one of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation's oldest regional foundations.
The Klinke will be exchanged with the external project funding of the nationwide work at the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation. Thus the clinic has several connections to the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation. On the one hand, the RLS Saxony is part of the network of foundations in which all state foundations and the Federal Foundation work together in a spirit of trust. We are happy to be part of the network. On the other hand, we exchange information with the area of external project funding. We are happy that the Federal Foundation supports many great projects from Saxony and that we can thus have a stronger impact on the progressive civil society in Saxony than with the funds of the RLS Saxony alone. And last but not least, the circle comes full circle: our offices in Leipzig, Chemnitz and Dresden often host projects that are also supported by external project funding.
