The handle comes from the Clara Zetkin House, which belongs to the Waldheim Association in Stuttgart- Sillenbuch. The house has a history of over 100 years as a left-wing meeting place of the Stuttgart Waldheim movement, founded in 1909 by a group of social democrats around Clara Zetkin. Clara Zetkin lived in the neighborhood at the time, married to the painter Friedrich Zundel. With the Sillenbucher Waldheim, a place was created on the outskirts of the city in scattered orchards and forest, a destination for working people and their families on weekends. Until today it is a beautiful place with many cultural and political offers.

The Waldheimverein in Sillenbuch and the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation are closely connected. Joint events are held and there is mutual support.
