The handle comes from Konzeptwerk Neue Ökonomie e.V., which has its offices in the west of Leipzig. More precisely, from a backyard in Plagwitz, where an IT collective, a co-working space, a compost toilet provider, a junk shop and a car repair shop say good day to each other. The Konzeptwerk exists since 2012 and sees itself as a political educational collectiveunse. With our work we want to give people the confidence to change society in a self-determined way. We connect social movements, science and civil society - and create learning spaces for critical educational work. Together we work on feasible concepts and point out what blocks change. Our goal in everything we do: a good life for all.
The Konzeptwerk is related to the RLS in many ways: On the one hand, several people were and are part of the further education "Campus for World Change" and were allowed to discuss and think about strategies and group processes together there. In addition, we are always cooperation partners at educational events and in project planning. For years, the RLS has supported us at different events, for example the Degrowth Conference (2014), Degrowth Summer School (2015 - 2019) or the Future for All Congress (2020). We also organized together the great Feminist Futures Festival 2019. Hasta la victoria siempre!
