Center for Development of Community Initiative and Environment (C&E) is a Vietnamese not-for-profit organization established in 2008. C&E works to promote political participation and capacity of local community groups (ethnic minorities, youth and grassroots organizations) in finding better solutions to environmental issues that are related to their life. C&E contributes to the development of civil society and sustainable environment in Vietnam and the Southeast Asia region. In joint projects between Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung Southeast Asia, Hanoi and C&E we are organizing social-ecological training weeks on Universities and are setting up a youth exchange program between Germany and Vietnam with the focus on social-ecological topics.
